After the successes of their musicals « Oliver » and « The Sound of Music », New Twist in Toulouse is thrilled to bring you their exciting new production; « Lucky Stiff ».

Performed in English, and produced by the association Theatre Music Action 31, the group will present the musical written by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty and based on the novel « The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo » by Michael Butterworth.

« Lucky Stiff » is a bizarre and hilarious farce, complete with mistaken identities, six million dollars in diamonds and a dead body in a wheelchair.

The story revolves around an unassuming English shoe salesman who is forced to take the embalmed body of his recently murdered uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo.

Should he succeed in passing his uncle off as alive, Harry Witherspoon stands to inherit $6,000,000.

If not, the money will go to the Universal Dog Home in Brooklyn…or to his uncle’s gun-toting ex!

Après les succès de leurs comédies musicales « Oliver » et « The Sound of Music », New Twist à Toulouse est heureux de vous présenter sa nouvelle production : « Lucky Stiff ».

Jouée en anglais, et produite par l’association Theatre Music Action 31, la troupe présentera la comédie musicale écrite par Lynn Ahrens, sur une musique de Stephen Flaherty et basée sur le roman « The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo » de Michael Butterworth.

« Lucky Stiff » est une farce bizarre et hilarante, avec des erreurs d’identité, six millions de dollars en diamants et un cadavre en fauteuil roulant.

L’histoire tourne autour d’un vendeur de chaussures anglais sans prétention qui est contraint d’emmener le corps embaumé de son oncle récemment assassiné en vacances à Monte Carlo.

S’il parvient à faire passer son oncle pour vivant, Harry Witherspoon peut hériter de 6 millions de dollars.

Dans le cas contraire, l’argent ira à l’Universal Dog Home de Brooklyn… ou à l’ex de son oncle qui est armé !
